Song accompaniment on the guitar

How do I create an interesting guitar accompaniment? Or everything I wanted to know about harmonies but never dared to ask ...

The course starts with simple songs known to as many participants as possible. These examples are first accompanied in a simple way, then new elements and possibilities are introduced step by step (substitute and extended harmonies, bass lines, rhythmic variations and techniques), and taught in an understandable, unacademic way.

The goal is to give the participants new impulses and creative possibilities so that they can enhance and rearrange their own song accompaniments themselves.

The possible uses of standard and some open tunings, especially DADGAD & EADGAE, are also explained.

Short biography

As a solo artist and founding member of various projects (KELPIE, LEUCHTER / MELROSE-Duo, GUITAR CELEBRATION, HEINE GETS THE GROOVE and others) the exceptional Scottish guitarist quickly became one of the most sought-after fingerpickers on the European music scene. Again and again he is also invited to the studio by colleagues, be it for Reinhard Mey, Clannad, Mary Black, Stockfisch Records (Katja Werker, Sara K., McKinley Black, David Munyon and others), or for a film music recording, where his virtuoso playing on the Celtic "Low Whistle" or on the "Dobro" is often additionally called upon.
